My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms provided a great view but were a little dated and in need of refurbishment. The service was excellent, with staff being very friendly and welcoming. The location was wonderful, overlooking the loch, perfect for those seeking tranquility or as a stopover on the NC500 route. The dining experience fell a bit short with underwhelming options and additional charges. Facilities were decent overall.

The friendly service adds to the overall positive experience, although the location, while above Lochinver with impressive views, has some trip hazards due to ripples in the carpet.
